Inbiopro’s custom-research capabilities have delivered enhanced gains in product and process efficacy to clients.

The Para Thyroid Hormone (PTH) is important for stimulating the osteoclast cells of the bone for calcium uptake and thus increase bone resorption process. We have successfully produced PTH in E.coli by fusing it with a unique bacterial protein fusion partner, which has chaperone activity. The result:

  • A six-fold higher protein yield, a one-of-its-kind initiative in India, with a comparable biological activity to that of Tariparatide;
  • An alternative to the difficult issue of expressing and stabilizing the peptide in a purification process in micro-organisms.

Rituximab is expressed extra-cellularly in CHO S cell lines cloned with high copy number vectors. Its extensive purification processes reduces the risk of anaphylactic agents leaching in to the process fluid and host cell impurities of DNA and protein origin. In a pioneering move, we have reduced the process steps by employing advanced resins and hence an advanced economic footprint. The result:

  • Shortened process time and decreased process/ product cost;
  • High quality of product, comparable to that of the innovator.
